PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To constitute a reduction gear which does not generate noise even if a large load acts thereon.SOLUTION: In a gear reduction gear, pivot faces being rotating faces with a drive axial core X as a center which are tapered and smoothly bulged outward are formed at outer end parts of both ends of a worm shaft 2, and a bearing part 11 having an opening part 11a into which the outer end part 2a of the worm shaft 2 is inserted as a pair of bearing mechanisms C is arranged. The bearing part 11 has a shape for allowing the displacement of the outer end part 2a to a direction in which the opening part 11a intersects with a drive axial core X, and comprises a bearing face being an inner face shape along external peripheries of the pivot faces. The gear reduction gear also comprises an energization mechanism 15 which makes an energization force for making a worm A approximate a wheel gear B act by the abutment of any of the bearing part 11 on the pivot face of the outer end part 2a into which the opening part 11a is inserted.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】大きい負荷が作用しても、異音を発生させることのない減速装置を構成する。【解決手段】ウォームシャフト2の両端の外端部に、先細り状で滑らかに外方に膨れ、駆動軸芯Xを中心とする回転面となる支軸面が形成され、一対の軸受機構Cとして、ウォームシャフト2の外端部2aが挿入される開口部11aを有する軸受部11を備えている。軸受部11は、開口部11aが駆動軸芯Xに直交する方向への外端部2aの変位を許容する形状で、且つ支軸面の外周に沿う内面形状となる軸受面を備えている。何れかの軸受部11が、開口部11aに挿入された外端部2aの支軸面に当接することによりウォームAをホイールギヤBに接近させる付勢力を作用させる付勢機構15を備えている。【選択図】図1
