PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for more properly displaying a virtual image which has a three-dimensional feeling while maintaining visibility.SOLUTION: A virtual image display device 10 comprises: a projection part 20 including a transmission type display part 24 for modulating illumination light and generating display light and a drive part 30 for rotating the display part 24 so that the display part 24 is inclined with respect to the optical axis of the illumination light, and presenting a virtual image 50 by projecting the display light on a virtual image presentation surface provided on a movable body; an acquisition part for acquiring information related to the movable body; a determination part for determining a rotation condition on the basis of the information acquired by the acquisition part; and a drive control part for controlling the operation of the drive part 30 on the basis of the determination of the determination part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
