PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the detection of abnormality in an EHC current sensor without duplicating the EHC current sensor while taking a user requirement for an external charging into consideration, in a hybrid vehicle enabled for the external charging.SOLUTION: An ECU 100 executes abnormality detection processing for detecting abnormality in an EHC current sensor 180. The abnormality detection processing includes first processing executed in a case where an SOC of a battery 40 is equal to or higher than a given amount, with an EHC 85 supplied with power, during a power reception from a power supply 200. The first processing includes the processing of: estimating a current applied to the EHC 85 using a detection value of a charge current sensor 175; and detecting abnormality in the EHC current sensor 180 by comparing the aforementioned estimation value with the detection value of the EHC current sensor 180.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
