PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for controlling a rotary electric machine, capable of properly executing operation and protection of the rotary electric machine during reduction in a power source voltage.SOLUTION: A controller 30 of an ISG 100 includes: a first determination part for determining whether or not a power source voltage which is a voltage of a battery 40 has dropped to a level below a first threshold; an energization interruption part which puts an inverter 20 in an energization interrupted state when it is determined that the power source voltage has dropped to a level below the first threshold; a second determination part for determining whether or not the power source voltage has risen to a higher level than a second threshold after energization interruption; an energization release part for releasing energization interruption on the basis that the power source voltage has risen to the higher level than the second threshold; a count part for counting the number of execution times of energization interruption by the energization interruption part; and a limit part for determining whether a factor of drop in the power source voltage is a first factor due to a rotary electric machine or a second factor other than the first factor, and limiting count when it is the second factor; and a third determination part for determining whether or not release of energization interruption is permitted on the basis of the number of execution times.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】電源電圧の低下時において、回転電機の作動及び保護を適正に実施することができる回転電機の制御装置を提供する。【解決手段】ISG100の制御装置30は、バッテリ40の電圧である電源電圧が第1閾値よりも低下したか否かを判定する第1判定部と、電源電圧が第1閾値よりも低下したと判定された場合に、インバータ20を通電遮断状態にする通電遮断部と、通電遮断後に電源電圧が第2閾値よりも高い電圧に上昇したか否かを判定する第2判定部と、電源電圧が第2閾値よりも高い電圧に上昇したことに基づいて、通電遮断を解除する遮断解除部と、通電遮断部による通電遮断の実施回数をカウントするカウント部と、電源電圧の低下の要因が、回転電機による第1要因かそれ以外の第2要因かを判定して、第2要因である場合にカウントを制限する制限部と、実施回数に基づいて、通電遮断の解除を許可するか許可しないかを判定する第3判定部と、を備える。【選択図】 図1
