PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wear inspection apparatus capable of detecting the wear state of surface shape of entire component and specific point with respect to a component which wears accompanying running of a vehicle.SOLUTION: The wear inspection apparatus includes: a data acquisition part that acquires surface shape data including a piece of information representing a surface shape of a component which wears accompanying running of a vehicle; and an approximate processing part that calculates an approximate line with respect to the acquired surface shape data and calculates the wear degree of the component based on the approximate line and a wear part included in the surface shape data.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
