PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To utilize vacuum pressure to safely connect an instrument 12 for a vacuum device to a vacuum device.SOLUTION: An instrument 12 for a vacuum device has a female pipe joint part detachably connected to a male pipe joint part 10 of a vacuum device. The female pipe joint part has: a cylindrical body 14 fitted into the male pipe joint part 10; a locking element 16 configured to lock the cylindrical body 14 to the male pipe joint part 10; an engagement element 42 configured to, when vacuum pressure is applied, be displaced by outside pressure, and inhibit a locking element constraint member 20 fixing the locking element 16 at a locking position from being displaced; and a locking securement member 30 comprising a pressure receiving displacement member 32.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
