PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a duct structure capable of avoiding direct adjacency of each RoRo compartment by providing a dead space (VOID space) in a tier-shaped stair part ventilation duct where each RoRo compartment adjoins directly in a ventilation duct connected to a fire fighting compartment positioned on a lower layer of an automobile carrier, and capable of avoiding a thermal protection construction into the ventilation duct.SOLUTION: Concerning an air duct b3 for ventilation in a bow lower layer deck fire fighting compartment and in a midslope lower layer deck fire fighting compartment of an automobile carrier, the air duct upper surface is provided with a dead space on an area adjoining to vehicle loading decks 2c, 2d, 2e in the air duct b3, used jointly for the vehicle loading decks (vehicle decks) 2c, 2d, 2e.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
