PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To exert a sufficient cooling capacity with respect to an increase of the power generation of an inverter without maintaining a refrigerant flow rate at a high flow rate so as to constantly exert the cooling capacity which is required at the maximum power generation of the inverter.SOLUTION: When increasing a flow rate of cooling water accompanied by an increase of a command value of torque with respect to an electric motor MTR, a target flow rate Q1 of the cooling water with respect to a command value of current torque T1 is decided so that the flow rate of the cooling water reaches a maximum value Q0 which is set at the drive of the electric motor MTR at maximum torque at a maximum change rate A before a temperature of an IGBT 11 of an inverter INV reaches an upper limit temperature when the torque of the electric motor MTR in a prescribed rotation number R is raised to the maximum torque at the prescribed rotation number R from the current torque T1, and the target flow rate is outputted to a water pump W/P from a vehicle integration controller VCM as a flow rate command. That is, in s torque region not larger than the maximum torque, the IGBT 11 is cooled at a flow rate smaller than the flow rate of the cooling water which is required at the maximum torque.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】インバータの最大発熱時に要求される冷却能力を常時発揮するように冷媒流量を高流量に維持しなくても、インバータの発熱の増加に対して十分な冷却能力を発揮する。【解決手段】電動モータMTRに対するトルクの指令値が増加するのに伴い冷却水の流量を増やす場合に、所定回転数Rの電動モータMTRを現在のトルクT1から所定回転数Rにおける最大トルクに上昇させたときにインバータINVのIGBT11の温度が上限温度に達する前に、電動モータMTRの最大トルクでの駆動時に設定される冷却水の流量の最大値Q0に最大変化率Aで達するように、現在のトルクT1の指令値に対する冷却水の目標流量Q1を決定し、車両統合コントローラVCMからウォータポンプW/Pに流量指令として出力させる。即ち、最大トルク以下のトルク領域において、最大トルク時に求められる冷却水の流量よりも少ない流量でIGBT11を冷却する。【選択図】図1
