PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To downsize the outdoor part of an air conditioner by effectively utilizing the installation space thereof in the air conditioner for a railway vehicle of a type disposed to the underfloor of the railway vehicle whose lower side face is inclined inside.SOLUTION: An outdoor part 100 of an air conditioner disposed to the underfloor of a railway vehicle, comprises: a refrigerant circuit comprising compressors 111, 112, heat exchangers 121, 122, an air blower 130, and an expansion mechanism 140; a refrigerant piping 170; and a housing 150 for storing the refrigerant circuit and the refrigerant piping 170. The housing 150 forms a part of an inclined part in the side face of the railway vehicle. The heat exchangers 121, 122 are arranged between the air blower 130 and a vent hole 150a provided on the surface forming a part of an inclined part in the vehicle side face of the housing 150 to be connected by the refrigerant piping 170. The heat exchangers 121, 122 are arranged at the upper and lower sides, respectively. Inclinations of the heat exchangers 121, 122 are acute to the floor surface of the railway vehicle.     【課題】下側面が内側に傾斜している鉄道車両の床下に配置されるタイプの鉄道車両用空気調和装置の室外部について、その設置空間を有効に活用し、室外部を小型化する。【解決手段】鉄道車両の床下に配置される室外部100は、圧縮機111、112と、熱交換器121、122と、送風機130と、膨脹機構140と、を備えた冷媒回路と、冷媒配管170と、冷媒回路及び冷媒配管170とを収容する筐体150とを有する。筐体150は、鉄道車両の側面の傾斜部の一部を成す。熱交換器121、122は、筐体150の車両の側面の傾斜部の一部を成す面に設けられた通気口150aと送風機130の間に配置され、冷媒配管170により接続される。熱交換器121は上側に、熱交換器122は下側に配置される。熱交換器121と熱交換器122とは、鉄道車両の床面に対する傾きが鋭角であり、傾きが互いに等しく、互いに平行に配置されている。【選択図】図1
