PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information generation device capable of securely receiving information transmitted from the outside, to enable navigation operation based on most up-to-date information.SOLUTION: The information generation device includes: a first acquisition unit 43A which acquires the position information of a traffic information transmission station which transmits a radio signal (broadcast signal); a second acquisition unit 43B which acquires obstacle information which includes the position information of an obstacle in the periphery of a moving body; an estimation unit 43C which, based on the position information of the transmission station and the obstacle information, estimates a radio signal dead zone in the periphery of the moving body; and a generation unit 43D which generates estimated information related to the dead zone estimated by the estimation unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
