PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a rope coming-off preventive inspection device capable of further accurately determining whether or not a gap between a rope and a rope coming-off preventive device is between a gap lower limit reference value and a gap upper limit reference value.SOLUTION: A rope coming-off preventive inspection device 1A is used for inspecting that dimensions of a gap between a rope wound part 21 which is a part wound around sheave 3 in a rope 2 and a rope coming-off preventive device 4 provided opposite to the rope wound part 21 and suppressing the coming-off of the rope wound part 21 from the sheave 3 is from a gap lower limit reference value to a gap upper limit reference value. The rope coming-off preventive inspection device 1A is equipped with a coming-off preventive inspection plate 11 having a first plate portion 111 with plate thickness of the gap lower limit reference value, and a second plate portion 112 with plate thickness of the gap upper limit reference value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
