PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a float for a solar panel, which enables the solar panel to be efficiently installed on water and which has high reliability as a floating body.SOLUTION: A float 1 for a solar panel is used to support the solar panel on water. The float 1 includes a body part 2 which is made of a hollow molding assuming a vertically-long rectangular shape in a plan view and which has a loading surface 2a for the solar panel inclined in a vertical direction, and a walking passage part 3 that is provided on the one inclined end side of the body part.
