PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To exhibit good corrosion resistance even when factors which makes severe corrosive atmosphere in a fuel tank come from outside and suppress generation of a corrosion product accompanying plating wear.SOLUTION: The present invention related to a fuel tank has a fuel tank having a plating layer consisting of a Sn-based plating having a composition of Sn-(5 to 40 mass%)Zn or Al-based plating having a composition of Al-(8 to 12 mass%)Si and a plating steel sheet with coating weight of the plating layer per a single sided surface of 20 to 50 g/mas raw materials and a bottom member positioned on the plating layer of an inner surface side of the fuel tank at a bottom part of the fuel tank, containing at least one of Zn, Mg or Zn-Mg alloy and having K value calculated by the formula (1) of K≥0.030.SELECTED DRAWING: None

    【課題】燃料タンク内の腐食環境を非常に厳しくする要因が外部から入り込んだ場合であっても良好な耐食性を示し、かつ、めっき損耗に伴う腐食生成物の生成を抑制すること。【解決手段】本発明に係る燃料タンクは、Sn−(5〜40質量%)Znの組成を有するSn系めっき、又は、Al−(8〜12質量%)Siの組成を有するAl系めっきからなるめっき層を有し、片面当たりの当該めっき層の付着量が20〜50g/m2であるめっき鋼板を素材とした燃料タンクと、前記燃料タンクの底部において、当該燃料タンクの内面側の前記めっき層上に位置しており、Zn、Mg、又は、Zn−Mg合金の少なくとも何れかを含有し、式(1)で与えられるK値がK≧0.030である底部部材と、を備える。【選択図】なし
