PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator speed governor of which a rope can be easily removed.SOLUTION: An elevator speed governor comprises: a speed governor body on which a speed governor rope, which is moved in linkage with elevational operation of a car, is wound and which has a gripping mechanism which grips the speed governor rope when a travel speed of the speed governor rope exceeds a specified rope; and a base member which supports the speed governor body and which is provided with an open hole through which the speed governor rope penetrates in the elevational direction of the car. The base member has a rope passage of which is one end is communicated with the open hole, and the other end is opened to an outer marginal part of the base member and derives the speed governor rope from the outer marginal part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3

    【課題】調速機ロープの取り外しを容易にできるエレベータの調速機を提供する。【解決手段】実施形態のエレベータの調速機は、乗りかごの昇降動作に連動して移動する調速機ロープが巻き掛けられ、調速機ロープの移動速度が所定値を超えた場合に調速機ロープを把持する把持機構を有する調速機本体と、調速機本体を支持するとともに、調速機ロープを乗りかごの昇降方向に貫通させる貫通孔が形成されたベース部材と、を備える。ベース部材は、一端が貫通孔に連通し他端がベース部材の外縁部に開口し調速機ロープを外縁部から導出させるロープ通路を有する。【選択図】図3
