PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that, in a system where multiple induction motors are driven by one inverter controller under speed sensorless vector control, states of phase interruption or erroneous wiring of the motors cannot be accurately detected.SOLUTION: A power conversion device comprises: a current vector detection part for generating a torque current detection value and an excitation current detection value from current detection values between the power conversion device and multiple induction motors; a shear frequency calculation part for generating a shear frequency based on a torque current command value and an excitation current command value; a speed estimation part for generating an estimated speed of the induction motors based on a deviation between the torque current detection value and the torque current command value; a connection defect discrimination device for detecting a connection defect of the multiple induction motors based on the excitation current detection value; and a voltage vector calculation part for generating a voltage command value based on an inverter frequency that is generated based on the shear frequency and the estimated speed in such a manner that the torque current detection value follows the torque current command value, the torque current command value and the excitation current command value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
