PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solar panel control system for a vehicle that can efficiently track the sun with a simple configuration and that does not interfere with traveling of the vehicle.SOLUTION: The solar panel control system for a vehicle is provided that comprises: a solar panel 41 installed on an external part of the vehicle; a vehicle state acquiring section 23 which acquires a state of the vehicle; a determining section which determines that a condition for automatic tracking permission is met at least when the vehicle is parked or when no passengers in the vehicle; an incident-angle calculating section which calculates an incident angle for sunlight with respect to the solar panel when the condition for the automatic tracking permission is met; a panel angle calculating section which calculates a panel angle including an inclination angle and direction angle of the solar panel, the calculated angles enabling the incident angle and the planar direction of the solar panel to have a predetermined positional relation; and a drive control section which performs automatic tracking control for the solar panel such that the predetermined positional relation is maintained with the panel angle as a target angle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
