PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sight line detection device capable of correctly estimating a front face that a driver actually recognizes in a short time.SOLUTION: The sight line detection device comprises: a sight line detection unit 20 for detecting a sight line direction of a driver of a vehicle; a totalization unit 21 for totalizing detection results obtained from the sight line detection unit 20 as distribution of angles to a reference direction; a run state detection unit 22 for detecting a run state of the vehicle; a discrimination unit 23 for discriminating whether or not the vehicle is in a predetermined run state on the basis of the detection results obtained from the run state detection unit 22; and an estimation unit 24 for estimating a front direction of the driver on the basis of the results totalized by the totalization unit 21 regarding a sight line direction detected in the predetermined run state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
