PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform adjustment of a load detection value at the time of the maximum load without special operation by a professional engineer.SOLUTION: The load detection adjusting device of an elevator calculates a load detection value at the time of the maximum load corresponding to a load detection value of an elevator car 6 at the time of the maximum load, from weight information on a passenger U obtained based on information recorded in an information card C which the passenger carries and a current load detection value of the elevator car detected by a load detecting portion 41 in a car that outputs a load detection value according to a load in an elevator car; compares the calculated load detection value at the time of the maximum load with a load detection value at the time of the maximum load registered in a recording portion 24 to determine whether the load detection value at the time of the maximum load registered in the recording portion 24 is right or wrong; and corrects the load detection value at the time of the maximum load registered in the recording portion 24 on the basis of the determination result.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
