PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a vehicle body skeleton member that improves fitting work efficiency for the vehicle body skeleton member and causes a foam material to be stably filled in a specific internal space of the vehicle body skeleton member, as intended.SOLUTION: In a manufacturing method for a vehicle body skeleton member, a first foam precursor is disposed between a reinforcement panel 14 and a fitting position 22 of an outer panel 18, and a second foam precursor is disposed between the first foam precursor and the fitting position 22. An outer panel 18 is fitted to the reinforcement panel 14 via the first foam precursor and the second foam precursor, and a roof side rail part 10 is formed. An outer panel 18 forms an internal space 18B5 projecting more on a side opposite to the reinforcement panel 14 from the fitting position 22. A first foam material 32 is formed by foaming the first foam precursor, and a second foam material 36 is formed by foaming the second foam precursor. The second foam material 36 moves toward the internal space 18B5 by expansion of the first foam precursor, and is filled in an internal space 18B5.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】車体骨格部材の組付作業性を向上させ、かつ、車体骨格部材の特定の内部空間に狙い通りに発泡材を安定して充填させる車体骨格部材の製造方法を提供する。【解決手段】車体骨格部材の製造方法において、補強パネル14とアウタパネル18の組付位置22との間に第1発泡前駆体が配置され、第1発泡前駆体と組付位置22との間に第2発泡前駆体が配置される。補強パネル14に第1発泡前駆体及び第2発泡前駆体を介してアウタパネル18が組付けられ、ルーフサイドレール部10が形成される。アウタパネル18は組付位置22よりも補強パネル14と反対側に突出する内部空間18B5を形成する。第1発泡前駆体を発泡させて第1発泡材32が形成され、第2発泡前駆体を発泡させて第2発泡材36が形成される。第2発泡材36は、第1発泡前駆体の膨張により内部空間18B5側に移動し、内部空間18B5内へ充填される。【選択図】図1
