PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an application execution apparatus for a vehicle capable of executing an application even when GPS radio waves are shut off in a vehicle mounted with plural applications with different requirements for positional accuracy of an own vehicle.SOLUTION: A application execution apparatus for a vehicle includes: a positioning part capable of positioning a present position of an own vehicle 60 on the basis of a radio wave signal received from a satellite; a travel position acquisition part capable of acquiring a travel position of another vehicle 65a present in the periphery of the own vehicle by performing radio communication between the own vehicle and the other vehicle; an own vehicle travel position setting part for setting the positioned present position of the own vehicle as a travel position in the case where the positioning part positions the present travel position of the own vehicle, and setting a travel position of the own vehicle from the travel position of the other vehicle obtained from the travel position acquisition part in the case where the positioning part is unable to position the present position of the own vehicle; and an application selection part for selecting an application that satisfies a positional accuracy requirement from among plural applications from the accuracy of the travel position of the own vehicle set by the own vehicle travel position setting part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】自車両の位置精度要求が異なる複数のアプリケーションを搭載した車両において、GPS電波の遮断時でもアプリケーションの実行が可能な車両用アプリケーション実行装置を提供する。【解決手段】人工衛星から受信した電波信号に基づいて自車両60の現在位置を測位可能な測位部と、自車両の周辺に存在する他の車両65aと自車両との間で無線通信を行って他の車両の走行位置を入手可能な走行位置取得部と、測位部による自車両の現在位置の測位時には、測位された自車両の現在位置を走行位置と設定し、測位部で自車両の現在位置を測位できない場合には、走行位置取得部から入手した他の車両の走行位置から自車両の走行位置を設定する自車両走行位置設定部と、自車両走行位置設定部で設定された自車両の走行位置の精度から複数のアプリケーションのうち位置精度要求を満たすアプリケーションを選択するアプリ選択部と、を備える。【選択図】図1
