PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a feeling of discomfort in a steering operation attributed to a backlash without increasing accuracy of a mechanism for generating steering reaction force and without performing mechanical adjustment of it.SOLUTION: A steering reaction force device includes a large gear 10 that rotates around a shaft integrally with a steering shaft 3 that rotates around the shaft accompanying the rotation of a steering wheel 2 around the shaft, a first small gear 11 that engages with the large gear 10 and gives rotational driving force to the large gear 10, a first reaction force motor 13 for driving the first small gear 11, a first energizing member 15 that can energize the first small gear 11 in an axial direction of the first small gear 11, a second small gear 12 that engages with the large gear 10 and gives rotational driving force to the large gear 10, a second reaction force motor 14 for driving the second small gear 12, and a second energizing member 16 for energizing the second small gear 12 in an axial direction of the second small gear 12.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
