PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable charging a power storage device with a secured charging room to generate braking force by regeneration operation, when charging the power storage device to supply power to an electric auxiliary vehicle which charges the power storage device by the regeneration operation using electromotive force generated in a motor for driving wheels, to use braking force obtained by the regeneration operation, as braking force of the brake.SOLUTION: A charge control device (control circuit 204) halts to charge the power storage device (battery pack 20) with a charging room to generate braking force. The charge control device, on receiving the designation of a "full charge mode" which permits charging to the full charge, and a "room charge mode" which stops to charge with a left charging room, charges the power storage device with the designated charge mode. The control of stopping to charge is executed, for example, using a charge control element 207 which is loaded on the power storage device as a protection element.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4

    【課題】車輪を駆動するモータに生じる起電力を利用した回生動作により蓄電装置を充電し、回生動作により得られる制動力をブレーキの制動力として利用する電動補助車両に電力を供給する上記蓄電装置の充電に際し、回生動作によって制動力を生じさせるのに必要な充電余地を確保して蓄電装置を充電できるようにする。【解決手段】充電制御装置(制御回路204)は、制動力を生じさせるための充電余地を残して蓄電装置(電池パック20)の充電を停止する。充電制御装置は、満充電までの充電を許可する「満充電モード」と充電余地を残して充電を停止する「余地充電モード」の指定を受け付け、指定された充電モードで蓄電装置を充電する。充電の停止制御は、例えば、蓄電装置に保護素子として実装されている充電制御素子207を利用して行う。【選択図】図4
