PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a corrosion resistant steel for marine excellent in coating corrosion resistance and coated film adhesiveness.SOLUTION: There is provided a corrosion resistant steel material for marine containing, by mass%, C: 0.01 to 0.2%, Si: 0.10 to 0.30%, Mn: 0.5 to 1.2%, P: 0.005 to 0.020%, S: over 0% and 0.004% or less, Al: 0.02 to 0.08%, Cu: 0.15 to 0.5%, Ni: 0.15 to 0.5%, Cr: 0.05 to 0.3%, Ti: 0.005 to 0.02%, N: 0.0020 to 0.008% and Ca: 0.0010 to 0.01% and the balance iron with inevitable impurities and having a ratio of Ti/N of 1.0 to 3 and a ratio of Cu/(S×10) satisfying 5.5 to 45.SELECTED DRAWING: None
