PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating method which hardly causes gradual thickening of a film thickness in a flow-down direction of coating liquid even when forming a coated film onto a plate-shaped substrate according to a flow coat method.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of a coated film-attached substrate includes a process of ejecting coating liquid onto a principal plane of the substrate from a main nozzle while retaining the substrate in the state of inclining the substrate of a coating object or making the substrate vertical and relatively moving the main nozzle for ejecting the coating liquid for forming the coating film in a lateral direction, on the upper edge side on at least one side of the principal surface. Therein, a process of ejecting a solvent from a sub nozzle onto a principal plane of the substrate while relatively moving the sub nozzle which ejects the solvent having dilution property for the coating liquid before ejecting the coating liquid in the lateral direction for the substrate is provided and the process of ejecting the coating liquid onto the principal plane of the substrate from the main nozzle is performed in such a state that liquid film made of the solvent is retained on the principal plane.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】フローコート法による板状の基材への塗布膜の形成であっても、塗布液の流下方向で、膜厚が漸次厚くなることが生じにくい、塗布方法を提供することを課題とする。【解決手段】塗布対象の基材を傾けるか、垂直にした状態で基材を保持し、前記基材の少なくとも一方の主面上の上辺側で、塗布膜を形成するための塗布液を吐出する主ノズルを横方向に基材に対して相対移動させながら、前記主ノズルから前記塗布液を前記基材の主面上に吐出する工程を備える塗布膜付基材の製法において、前記塗布液を前記基材の主面上に吐出する前に、前記塗布液に対して希釈性のある溶剤を吐出する副ノズルを、前記副ノズルを横方向に基材に対して相対移動させながら、前記副ノズルから前記溶剤を前記基材の主面上に吐出する工程を備え、前記主ノズルから前記塗布液を前記基材の主面上に吐出する工程は、前記主面上に前記溶剤による液膜が保持された状態で行うこと。【選択図】図1
