PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable determination that a condition is established (i.e., in the state of appropriately determining), the condition for determining an abnormality in a booster pressure sensor 104 of a vehicular brake system, without using a detection value for determination, thus securing the reliability in determining the abnormality.SOLUTION: In a first negative-pressure communication channel 15 for supplying a negative-pressure chamber 26 of a brake booster 2 with negative pressure from an air intake channel 10 of an engine 1, a check valve 16 is disposed for allowing an air flow from the negative-pressure chamber 26 to the air intake channel 10. In a case where presence of a brake operation is determined (step ST204), with a determination that there has been a change in an air-fuel ratio toward a lean side (step ST205), detection values of an intake pressure sensor 101 and a booster pressure sensor 104 are compared so as to determine abnormality of the aforementioned sensors (steps ST206-ST209).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3

    【課題】車両のブレーキシステムにおけるブースタ圧センサ104の異常の判定条件が成立したこと(判定に好適な状態であること)を、その検出値を用いずに判断できるようにして、異常判定の信頼性を担保する。【解決手段】エンジン1の吸気通路10からブレーキブースタ2の負圧室26に負圧を供給する第1の負圧通路15には、負圧室26から吸気通路10への空気の流れを許容するチェックバルブ16が配設されている。ブレーキ操作が有りと判定され(ステップST204)、かつ、空燃比のリーン側への変化が有りと判定された(ステップST205)ときに、吸気圧センサ101およびブースタ圧センサ104の検出値を比較して、それらセンサの異常を判定する(ステップST206〜ST209)。【選択図】図3
