PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel and useful safety device capable of notifying a worker of abnormal approaching to an obstacle in the surroundings including a work object even with a simple structure.SOLUTION: An obstacle detection unit 39 is attached onto a support pillar 19 via an elastically deformable attaching shaft 31 surrounded with an inner coil spring 35. The inner coil spring 35 is surrounded with an outer coil spring 49. When the obstacle detection unit 39 comes into contact with an obstacle such as a tunnel ceiling surface, the inner coil spring 35 is elastically bent together with the attaching shaft 31, and electrically conducted to the outer coil spring 49. Thus, a circuit in which this conduction is closed is configured, and an alarming buzzer 59 or an alarming lamp 61 is operated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】簡易な構成でありながら、作業対象物を含む周囲の障害物への異常な接近を作業者に十分な時間的余裕をもって報知することができる、新規且つ有用な安全装置の提供。【解決手段】支柱19の上に、弾性変形可能で内側コイルスプリング35で囲った取付け軸31を介して障害物検知部39を取り付ける。また、内側コイルスプリング35を、外側コイルスプリング49で囲む。障害物検知部39がトンネルの天井面等の障害物に当たると、取付け軸31と共に内側コイルスプリング35が弾性変形して撓み、外側コイルスプリング49と導通するので、この導通を閉成とする回路を構成し、報知ブザー59や報知ランプ61を作動させる。【選択図】 図2
