PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a joining structure of vehicle skeleton members which can suppress the lowering of rigidity in the vicinity of a joining part of the vehicle skeleton members even if the vehicle skeleton members are joined to each other by thermal fusion.SOLUTION: A joining structure 10 of vehicle skeleton members 12 comprises: a light-metal made first vehicle skeleton member 20 which is formed into a rectangular closed cross section shape in a cross section view orthogonal to an extension direction; a light-metal made second vehicle skeleton member 18 which is formed into a hat shape in a cross section view orthogonal to the extension direction, and put on the first vehicle skeleton member 20 so as to cover the same; an offset flange 32 being a part of a flange part 30 which is formed at an end part of the second vehicle skeleton member 18 at an opening side, and protruded to a side opposite to the opening side with respect to the end part; and an extension part 40 which is extended from an end part of the offset flange part 32 at an opening side, and joined to the first vehicle skeleton member 20 by thermal fusion.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3

    【課題】車両骨格部材同士を熱溶着によって接合しても、各車両骨格部材の接合部付近の強度低下を抑制できる車両骨格部材の接合構造を得る。【解決手段】延在方向と直交する断面視で矩形閉断面形状に形成された軽金属製の第1車両骨格部材20と、延在方向と直交する断面視でハット型形状に形成され、第1車両骨格部材20に被せられた軽金属製の第2車両骨格部材18と、第2車両骨格部材18の開放側の端部に形成されたフランジ部30の一部とされ、その端部に対して開放側とは反対側へ突出されたオフセットフランジ部32と、オフセットフランジ部32における開放側の端部から延出され、第1車両骨格部材20に熱溶着によって接合された延出部40と、を備えた車両骨格部材12の接合構造10とする。【選択図】図3
