PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-weight and simplified boom deflection prevention device capable of easily coping with telescopic motion of a boom.SOLUTION: A boom deflection prevention device 10 comprises a post 27, a tension wire 28, and plural sheaves to which the tension wire 28 is stretched. The sheaves contain, a tension sheave 33, first tip sheave 36 to third tip sheave 38, and first base end sheave 39 to third base end sheave 41. Both end parts of the tension wire 28 are fixed to a swivel base 13 and a tip of a base boom 24. The tension wire 28 is stretched to the tension sheave 33, and is sequentially stretched to the respective tip sheaves and base end sheaves.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
