PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To naturally switch an image signal without inserting a black image, when switching the image signal.SOLUTION: When synthesizing an SoC image signal to a camera image signal and outputting it to a display 6 (S2: YES), in a case where an SoC4 is not started (S3: NO), an image synthesizing apparatus outputs the camera image signal to the display 6 (S5). In a case where the SoC4 is started (S3: YES), the image synthesizing apparatus synthesizes a synchronous SoC image signal to the camera image signal and outputs it (S4). This makes it possible to naturally switch a camera image to an image obtained by synthesizing an SoC image.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】映像信号を切替える際に黒画を挿入することなく自然な切替えを実現する。【解決手段】映像合成器は、カメラ映像信号にSoC映像信号を合成して表示器6に出力する際に(S2:YES)、SoC4が起動していない場合は(S3:NO)カメラ映像信号を表示器6に出力し(S5)、SoC4が起動した場合は(S3:YES)カメラ映像信号に同期SoC映像信号を合成して出力する(S4)。これにより、カメラ映像からSoC映像を合成した映像に自然に切替えることができる。【選択図】図2
