PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fresh water generation system capable of securing a heat quantity for obtaining a sufficient quantity of plain water even in the case where a temperature of jacket cooling water to be drained from an internal combustion engine falls.SOLUTION: A fresh water generation system 1 comprises: a fresh water generation device 2 including a heater 3; a first cooling water flow passage 7 in which exhaust air cooling water is circulated; a second cooling water flow passage 8 in which jacket cooling water is circulated; a first circulation path 9; and a second circulation path 10. The fresh water generation system is configured to guide cooling water flowing in the first circulation path 9 or cooling water flowing in the second circulation path 10 to the heater 3 and to exchange heat with seawater. In the circulation path 9 where the cooling water to be guided to the heater 3 flows, at an upstream side of the heater 3, a heat exchanger 16 is provided for exchanging heat between the cooling water flowing in the circulation path 9 and the cooling water flowing in the other circulation path 10. In the other circulation path 10, at an upstream side of the heat exchanger 16, a flow regulating valve 23 is provided for regulating a flow rate of the cooling water to be guided to the heat exchanger 16.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】内燃機関から排出されるジャケット冷却水の温度が低下する場合であっても、十分な量の淡水を得るための熱量を確保することができる造水システムを提供する。【解決手段】造水システム1は、加熱器3を有する造水装置2と、掃気空気冷却水を循環させる第1冷却水流路7と、ジャケット冷却水を循環させる第2冷却水流路8と、第1循環路9と、第2循環路10とを備え、第1循環路9を流れる冷却水又は第2循環路10を流れる冷却水が加熱器3に導かれて海水と熱交換するように構成されている。加熱器3に導かれる冷却水が流れる循環路9には、加熱器3の上流側に、当該循環路9を流れる冷却水と他の循環路10を流れる冷却水とを熱交換させる熱交換器16が設けられ、他の循環路10には、熱交換機器16の上流側に、熱交換器16に導かれる冷却水の流量を調整する流量調整弁23が設けられている。【選択図】図1
