PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a differential steering device for a skid steer type LATV, in which being easily manufactured while effective, a high vehicle speed is available while being safe and smooth even in a state a road surface condition significantly changes during high speed operation at a corner, allowing controlled driving and steering.SOLUTION: A skid-steer type all terrain vehicle (ATV) includes two driving devices for driving wheels on both sides of a vehicle or an endless track, and a differential steering device equipped with a differential gear. The ATV is a light weight ATV (LATV). Regardless of a road surface state on which the vehicle travels, the differential steering device is configured in such a manner as to generate a differential speed specified in two driving devices of the vehicle, related to a steering angle of the differential steering device. An additional steering drive force acts on the differential gear.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3

    【課題】効果的でありながら簡単で製造し易く、コーナを高速で運転中に路面条件が劇的に変化する状態であっても、高速の車両速度で安全且つ滑らかである、制御された駆動及び操舵を可能にするスキッドステア式LATV用の差動操舵装置を提供する。【解決手段】車両両側の車輪又は無限軌道を駆動する2つの駆動装置と、差動歯車を備えた差動操舵装置とから成るスキッドステア式全地形用車両(ATV)であって、該ATVが軽量ATV(LATV)であり、上記車両が走行する路面状態に関係なく、上記差動操舵装置が、該差動操舵装置の操舵角に関連する、上記車両の2つの駆動装置の規定された差動速度を発生させるように構成され、付加的な操舵駆動力が上記差動歯車に作用することを特徴とするスキッドステア式全地形用車両。【選択図】図3
