PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle body and exterior panel boring method capable of reducing an opening area of an opening for an on-vehicle camera unit, relative to a prior art.SOLUTION: A vehicle body comprises an exterior panel. The exterior panel has an opening formed thereon. A camera unit is arranged in the opening. A contour of the opening 19 is expressed by a large circle 25 having a diameter shorter than a diagonal 28 of a virtual rectangle 27 which is reference, and longer than a longest side 29a of the virtual rectangle 27, and four small circles 26a, 26b, 26c, 26d respectively containing four apex regions 32 of the virtual rectangle 27 which are disposed outside of the large circle 25.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
