PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a travel section evaluation method for determining whether or not a travel section requires inter-vehicular distance adjustment.SOLUTION: The travel section evaluation method causes a computer to execute the steps of including: a first generation step S406-1 to generate a first distribution of inter-vehicular distance made by own driver while referring to a storage section storing travel information including the driver and inter-vehicular distance; a second generation step S406-2 to generate a second distribution of inter-vehicular distance made by a driver on another vehicle while referring to the storage section; and an evaluation step S410 to evaluate a travel section included in candidates of travel route of own vehicle on the basis of a comparison result between the first distribution and the second distribution.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
