PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic drive device for a cargo handling vehicle capable of easily preventing cavitation.SOLUTION: A hydraulic fluid temperature estimating section 69 can estimate a hydraulic fluid temperature on the basis of an actual engine speed detected by an engine speed sensor 59, a control input detected by a lift operation lever control input sensor 55, and a bottom pressure detected by a lift cylinder bottom pressure sensor 70. Thus, the hydraulic fluid temperature can be easily estimated on the basis of the detection result detected by the various detecting sections without separately installing a sensor for directly measuring the hydraulic fluid temperature. By estimating the hydraulic fluid temperature, a hydraulic cylinder can be operated on the condition of preventing cavitation when it is estimated that the hydraulic fluid temperature is low and viscosity of the hydraulic fluid is low, for example.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4

    【課題】キャビテーションの発生を容易に防止することができる荷役車両の油圧駆動装置を提供する。【解決手段】作動油温度推定部69は、回転数センサ59が検出した実回転数と、リフト操作レバー操作量センサ55が検出した操作量と、リフトシリンダボトム圧センサ70が検出したボトム圧とに基づいて作動油温度を推定することができる。このように、作動油温度を直接測定するためのセンサ等を別途設けなくとも、各種検出部で検出された検出結果に基づいて、容易に作動油温度を推定することが可能となる。作動油温度を推定することで、例えば、作動油温度が低くて作動油の粘度が低いと推定した場合に、キャビテーションの発生を防止できる条件にて油圧シリンダの運転を行うことができる。【選択図】図4
