PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To constantly keep a proper engagement state by preventing large change of positional relationship between gears due to temperature change even when a gear case accommodating a gear speed reduction mechanism of an electric linear motion actuator, is molded by using a reinforcement fiber-containing resin.SOLUTION: In an electric direct motion linear actuator, a gear case 30 accommodating a gear speed reduction mechanism 41, is molded with reinforcement fiber-containing resin. Ribs 54 connecting gear supporting portions are disposed between the gear supporting portions 39 and 48, 49 and 51 supporting gears of the gear case 30, the reinforcement fiber of the resin is orientated in parallel with an extending direction of the ribs 54 so that linear expansion coefficients between the gear supporting portions 39 and 48, 49 and 51 are close to a linear expansion coefficient of a gear of the gear speed reduction mechanism 41, thus occurrence of change in engagement of gears due to temperature change can be prevented.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5

    【課題】電動式直動アクチュエータのギヤ減速機構を収容するギヤケースを強化繊維入り樹脂で成形した場合でも、温度変化によってギヤ同士の位置関係が大きく変化することのないようにして常に適切な噛み合い状態を維持できるようにすることである。【解決手段】電動式直動アクチュエータにおいて、ギヤ減速機構41を収容するギヤケース30を強化繊維入り樹脂で成形する。ギヤケース30のギヤを支持するギヤ支持部39と48、49と51間に、そのギヤ支持部を結ぶリブ54を設け、そのリブ54が延びる方向と平行に樹脂の強化繊維を配向して、ギヤ支持部39と48、49と51間の線膨張係数をギヤ減速機構41のギヤの線膨張係数に近づけ、温度変化によってギヤの噛み合いに変化が生じるのを防止する。【選択図】図5
