PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular braking device that is configured to appropriately perform braking control of an own vehicle even if the own vehicle meets with a collision accident although braking control by which a collision damage of the own vehicle is reduced is performed before the collison.SOLUTION: A vehicular braking device 10 comprises: a VSA device 18 that generates braking force for braking an own vehicle; a second information acquiring portion 161 that acquires information related to whether or not the own vehicle may collide; a collision determining portion 163 that determines whether or not the own vehicle has collided, using a collision determination threshold Cth; a second braking control portion 167 that when acquiring information showing that the own vehicle may collide, performs pre-collision braking control, and when determining that the own vehicle has collided, performs pro-collision braking control. The collison determining portion 163 uses, as a collision determination threshold Cth after the pre-collision braking control is performed, a threshold Cth1 lower than a (reference) collision determination threshold Cth0 at the time when the pre-collision braking control is not performed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】自車両の衝突被害を軽減するための制動制御を衝突前に行ったにも関わらず、自車両が衝突事故に遭遇した場合であっても、自車両の制動制御を的確に遂行する。【解決手段】車両用制動装置10は、自車両を制動するための制動力を発生するVSA装置18と、自車両の衝突可能性有無に係る情報を取得する第2の情報取得部161と、自車両の衝突有無を衝突判定閾値Cthを用いて判定する衝突判定部163と、自車両の衝突可能性が有る旨の情報が取得された場合に、衝突前制動制御を行う一方、自車両の衝突有りの判定が下された場合に、衝突後制動制御を行う第2の制動制御部167と、を備える。衝突判定部163は、衝突前制動制御が行われた後の衝突判定閾値Cthとして、衝突前制動制御が行われていない際の(基準)衝突判定閾値Cth0 と比べて低い値Cth1 を用いる。【選択図】図2
