PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an uphill road start motor control device for an electric vehicle which enables starting on an uphill road even on a slope of an uphill road on which starting is difficult due to the hindrance of an upper limit of a permissible temperature of a switching element.SOLUTION: An uphill road start motor control device includes: an inverter 11 having a switching element 11a; a motor 7 for travelling connected to the inverter; a drive shaft 15 for transmitting output of the motor for travelling to driving wheels 5; and a control unit 13 for outputting AC from the switching element by an accelerator pedal operation and for applying torque to the motor for travelling. It suppresses the torque of the motor for travelling when the temperature of the switching element increases to an upper limit of the permissible temperature at uphill road start time. The control unit has: a vibration cycle detection unit 13 for detecting the cycle of damping vibration S generating in the drive shaft right after the suppression of the torque at the uphill road start time; and a torque re-application unit 13 for applying the torque to the motor for travelling in accordance with the detected cycle of the damping vibration of the drive shaft.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4

    【課題】本発明は、スイッチング素子の許容温度の上限値を障害に発進が困難とされる登坂路の勾配でも、登坂路発進を可能な電動自動車の登坂発進モータ制御装置を提供する。【解決手段】本発明は、スイッチング素子11aを有するインバータ11と、インバータに接続された走行用モータ7と、走行用モータの出力を駆動輪5に伝えるドライブシャフト15と、アクセルペダル操作によりスイッチング素子から交流を出力し走行用モータにトルクを印加させる制御部13とを備え、登坂路発進時、スイッチング素子の温度が許容温度の上限値に上昇すると、走行用モータのトルクを抑える登坂発進モータ制御装置で、制御部が、登坂路発進時でのトルクの抑制直後、ドライブシャフトに発生する減衰振動Sの周期を検出する振動周期検出部13と、検出したドライブシャフトの減衰振動の周期に合わせて、走行用モータにトルクを印加させる再トルク印加部13とを有する。【選択図】図4
