PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery cooling mechanism for a vehicle that can eliminate a work in cooling water, and facilitate an exchange work of a filter member.SOLUTION: A battery cooling mechanism 10 for a vehicle cools a battery device 1 having a plurality of batteries for supplying electric power to an electric motor for driving the vehicle by circulating cooling water 6 in a circulation path 5, and includes a tank 2 and a filter member 7. The tank 2 is disposed in the circulation path 5 to store the cooling water 6, and has an opening 2c. The filter member 7 removes electrolyte contained in the cooling water 6 inside the tank 2. In the battery cooling mechanism 10, the tank 2 has a lid portion 22 fitted to the opening 2c. The filter member 7 is arranged so as to be detachable from the tank 2 integrally with the lid portion 22.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
