PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheel bearing device which is suppressed in the excess and shortage of a fastening margin between a side lip and a slinger of a sealing device, and excellent in sealing performance.SOLUTION: A wheel bearing device 1 has an outer ring member 10, an inner ring 30, a hub shaft 20 having a hub flange 22 at an end part of an external periphery at one side, rolling bodies 30, and a sealing device 50. The sealing device 50 has a slinger 60 and a seal member 51, the slinger 60 has a cylinder part 61 and a disc part 62, the seal part 51 has a side lip 58 which opposes the disc part 62, and an end part 59 of the side lip 58 slide-contacts with a side face 65 of the disc part 62 with a proper fastening margin Δ. The hub shaft 20 has an inner ring abutment face 26, and sets a difference between a first clearance L1 between an end face 34 of the inner ring 30 and a tip 59 of the side lip 58 at the disc part side, and a second clearance L2 between the inner ring abutment face 26 and the side face 65 of the disc part 62 to a value equal to the proper fastening margin Δ.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
