PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for predicting a visual line direction of an occupant of a vehicle.SOLUTION: A method includes: a reading step for reading an initial visual line direction 114 of an occupant 102; a detection step for detecting a maximum speed of the latest movement of a head and/or the latest movement of eyes of the occupant 102 with the initial visual line direction 114 as a starting point using sensor data 118 for change in visual line angle of the occupant 102 representing the latest movement of the head and/or the latest movement of the eyes; a determination step for determining a prediction value of the latest movement of the head and/or the latest movement of the eyes represented by a prescribed model using the detected maximum speed; a use step for using the initial visual line direction 114 and the prediction value of the latest movement of the head and/or the latest movement of the eyes so as to predict the visual line direction 120 of the occupant 102.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
