PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for maintaining a wind turbine generator facility that reduces burden of an operator and enables a maintenance work for a blade of the wind turbine generator facility while suppressing time and cost necessary for inspection.SOLUTION: The maintenance method includes: a step of fixing the blade of rotor of the wind turbine generator facility (S32); a step of changing a pitch angle θ of the blade to be horizontal from a wind receiving state (S33); and a step of causing an unmanned aircraft to reach the horizontal blade to perform the maintenance work or the blade by the unmanned aircraft (S22), where the maintenance work preferably includes an inspection for a failure of the blade.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
