PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an idling-type reverse input prevention clutch in which an overrun phenomenon does not occur.SOLUTION: When input torque is applied to an input shaft 1, a column part 15a of a rotating cage 15 and a column part 16a of a slide cage 16 which adjoin each other without sandwiching rollers 13 in a peripheral direction of the input shaft 1 approximate each other between the input shaft 1 and an output outer ring 3 while withstanding an elastic force of a coil spring 17 which is arranged between both the column parts 15a, 16a, a pair of the rollers 13 in a wedge-shaped space 12 between the input shaft 1 and the output outer ring 3 are pushed into narrowed parts at both sides of the wedge-shaped space 12 one by one by an elastic force of a leaf spring 14 which is arranged between both the rollers 13, and engaged with the input shaft 1 and the output outer ring 3, and torque is transmitted to the output outer ring 3 from the input shaft 1. At this time, even if an external force for making the output outer ring 3 rotate at a speed higher than that of the input shaft 1 is applied, the engagement of the input shaft 1 of the front-side roller 13 in a rotation direction and the output outer ring 3 is not released, and an overrun phenomenon can be thereby prevented.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6

    【課題】オーバーラン現象の生じない空転式の逆入力防止クラッチを提供する。【解決手段】入力軸1に入力トルクが加えられたときには、入力軸1と出力外輪3との間で、入力軸1の周方向でローラ13を挟まずに隣り合う回転保持器15の柱部15aと摺動保持器16の柱部16aとが、両柱部15a、16a間に配されたコイルばね17の弾性力に抗して接近し、入力軸1と出力外輪3との間の楔形空間12内の一対のローラ13が、両ローラ13間に配された板ばね14の弾性力によって楔形空間12の両側の狭小部へ一つずつ押し込まれて、入力軸1および出力外輪3と係合し、入力軸1から出力外輪3にトルクが伝達されるようにした。このときには、出力外輪3を入力軸1よりも速く回転させようとする外力が作用しても、回転方向の前側のローラ13の入力軸1および出力外輪3との係合は解除されることがないので、オーバーラン現象を防止することができる。【選択図】図6
