PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent breakage of signal equipment when a ground fault accident occurs on a feeder circuit.SOLUTION: A ground fault protection device 40 comprises: a discharge pipe 45 which is connected between a rail side terminal 41 and a ground side terminal 42, and discharges by over-voltage applied to a space between the rail side terminal 41 and the ground side terminal 42, for flowing a ground fault current i6; a switch 46 which is connected to the discharge pipe 45 in parallel, which short-circuits the discharge pipe 45 when it is opened and which releases short-circuit of the discharge pipe 45; a CT 47 which detects the ground fault current; and a drive circuit 50 which opens and closes the switch 46 based on the detection result of the CT 47. The drive circuit 50 comprises: detection means 51 which detects occurrence and dissipation of the ground fault current i6 or presence/absence of the ground fault current based on the detection result of the CT 47; and driving means 52 which opens and closes the switch 46 at a prescribed timing based on the detection result of the detection means 51.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】き電回路に地絡事故が生じた際、信号機器の損傷を防止する。【解決手段】地絡保護装置40は、レール側端子41と接地側端子42との間に接続され、レール側端子41及び接地側端子42間に印加された過電圧により放電して地絡電流i6を流す放電管45と、この放電管45に対して並列に接続され、閉じた時に放電管45を短絡し、開いた時に放電管45の短絡を解除する開閉器46と、地絡電流を検出するCT47と、このCT47の検出結果に基づき、開閉器46を開閉する駆動回路50と、を備えている。駆動回路50は、CT47の検出結果に基づき、地絡電流i6の発生及び消滅、又は有無を検出する検出手段51と、この検出手段51の検出結果に基づき、所定のタイミングで開閉器46を開閉する駆動手段52と、を有している。【選択図】図1
