PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the system efficiency of a fuel cell automobile comprising a converter which can connect a fuel cell (FC) and a power storage device (battery) in series and can boost FC voltage.SOLUTION: At the time of a high load, a motor load 28 is driven with parallel electric power sources of a voltage source which generates a voltage Vfc+Vbat obtained by boosting an FC voltage Vfc by a converter 18, and a series electric power source of an FC 12 and a battery 14. At the time of a low load, the motor load 28 is driven only by the FC 12, so that an SOC of the battery 14 is not decreased, the converter 18 is not actuated and the system efficiency is improved.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】燃料電池(FC)と蓄電装置(バッテリ)とを直列に接続可能であって、且つFC電圧を昇圧可能なコンバータを備える燃料電池自動車のシステム効率を向上させる。【解決手段】高負荷時には、FC電圧Vfcをコンバータ18により昇圧した電圧Vfc+Vbatを発生する電圧源と、FC12及びバッテリ14の直列電源との並列的電源によりモータ負荷28を駆動する。低負荷時には、FC12のみでモータ負荷28を駆動するので、バッテリ14のSOCも減らず、コンバータ18も動かずにシステム効率が向上する。【選択図】図1
