PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular collision determination device which can determine, more accurately than the conventional, whether or not a collision is an oblique collision.SOLUTION: Included are first sensors (a left side and front side collision detecting sensor LFS, for example) which are provided at both left and right sides in the front of a vehicle 10 and measure the impact in the front and rear direction applied to the collision side of the vehicle 10, second sensors (a right side and front side collision detecting sensor RFS, for example) which are provided at both left and right sides in the front of a vehicle 10 and measure the impact in the left and right direction applied to the non-collision side of the vehicle 10, and a collision form determination part which implements collision form determination by using the first signal that is the impact signal obtained from the first sensor (a left side front and rear direction impact signal LFS_X, for example) and the second signal that is the impact signal obtained from the second sensor (a right side left and right direction impact signal RFS_Y, for example). The impact form determination part determines, based on the first signal and the second signal obtained in a predetermined period, whether or not a collision is an oblique collision in which the vehicle 10 collides against a collision target relatively obliquely.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】斜め衝突であるか否かを従来よりも的確に判定できる車両用衝突判定装置を提供する。【解決手段】車両10の前方における左右両側に設けられ、車両10の衝突側にかかる前後方向の衝撃を計測する第1センサ(例えば左側前方衝突検知センサLFS)と、車両10の前方における左右両側に設けられ、車両10の非衝突側にかかる左右方向の衝撃を計測する第2センサ(例えば右側前方衝突検知センサRFS)と、第1センサから取得する衝撃信号である第1信号(例えば左側前後方向衝撃信号LFS_X)と、第2センサから取得する衝撃信号である第2信号(例えば右側左右方向衝撃信号RFS_Y)とを用いて、衝突形態判別を行う衝突形態判定部とを有し、衝突形態判定部は、所定期間内に取得する第1信号と第2信号とに基づいて、車両10と衝突対象物とが相対的に斜めに衝突する斜め衝突であるか否かを判定する。【選択図】図1
