PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce leakage of a DC magnetic field generated outside a hood part of a DC electric railway vehicle to a vehicle inner side.SOLUTION: A DC magnetic field shield device comprises a magnetic shield member for preventing entry of a magnetic field to a vehicle inner side, which is generated by a DC electric cable installed in the vicinity of a boundary portion between a hood part side face provided in a vehicle connection part of a DC electric railway vehicle and a vehicle body end panel connected to the hood part side face. The magnetic shield member comprises a frame body made of a ferromagnetic body fitted to a peripheral edge of a passage opening part of the vehicle body end panel. The frame body comprises: first vertical frame shield plates disposed at both side edges of the passage opening part along the vehicle body end panel; second vertical frame shield plates provided at one side edges of the first vertical frame shield plates on the hood part side so as to extend in a direction along the hood part side face; and first sub shield plates provided at the other side edges of the first vertical frame shield plates so as to extend in a direction away from the vehicle body end panel. 【課題】本発明は、直流電気鉄道車両の幌部外側に生じている直流磁界の車両内部側への漏洩を低減することを目的とする。【解決手段】本発明は、直流電気鉄道車両の車両連結部に設けられた幌部の側面と、該幌路側面が接続される車体妻面との境界部分近傍に設置された直流電気ケーブルが発生させる磁界の車両内部側への侵入を防止する磁気シールド部材が設けられた直流磁界シールド装置であり、磁気シールド部材が車体妻面の通路開口部周縁に取り付けられた強磁性体製の枠体からなり、枠体が、車体妻面に沿って通路開口部両側縁に個々に配置された第1の縦枠シールド板と、第1の縦枠シールド板の幌部側の一側縁に延設されて幌部側面に沿う方向に延在された第2の縦枠シールド板と、第1の縦枠シールド板の他側縁に延設されて車体妻面から離れる方向に延在された第1の副シールド板を具備し、第2の縦枠シールド板の先端側に幌部が接続されている。【選択図】図1
