PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a step-up/step-down type switching regulator which is capable of preventing a right-half-plane-zero property from appearing while suppressing increase of cost and indicates a response property similar to a step-down property.SOLUTION: In the switching regulator, a MOS transistor Q1 (first switch) and a MOS transistor Q2 (second switch) are turned on/turned off in a complementary manner in accordance with an output voltage Vand in a step-up/step-down mode, an ON duty of a MOS transistor Q3 (third switch) is fixed, such that the MOS transistor Q3 (third switch) and a MOS transistor Q4 (fourth switch) are turned on/turned off in a complementary manner.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
