PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the occurrence of a radio wave interference of a radar signal with another vehicle while making effective use of radio frequency resources without exchange of control signals for position information or the like.SOLUTION: A radar device 100 mounted in a vehicle comprises: a radar transmission-reception unit 107 transmitting a radar signal and receiving a reflected wave signal obtained by reflection of the radar signal on a target; a camera 101 imaging a region including a direction of transmitting the radar signal; a timing control unit 103 setting transmission timing of the radar signal transmitted from a subject vehicle and lighting timing of a lamp 105 of the subject vehicle on the basis of a lighting state of another vehicle contained in an image picked up by the camera 101. In each of the subject vehicle and another vehicle, a transmission pattern including a radar signal transmission interval and a transmission stop interval is synchronized with a blink pattern including a lamp lighting interval and a lights-out interval, and the transmission interval of the subject vehicle differs from the transmission interval of another vehicle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】位置情報等の制御信号の交換を行うことなく、無線周波数資源の有効利用を図りながら、他車とのレーダ信号の電波干渉の発生を抑制すること。【解決手段】車両に搭載されるレーダ装置100において、レーダ送受信部107は、レーダ信号を送信し、レーダ信号がターゲットに反射した反射波信号を受信し、カメラ101は、レーダ信号を送信する方向を含む領域を撮影し、タイミング制御部103は、カメラ101で撮影された画像に含まれる他の車両のライトの点灯状態に基づいて、自車から送信されるレーダ信号の送信タイミング、及び、自車のライト105の点灯タイミングを設定する。ここで、自車及び他の車両の各々において、レーダ信号の送信区間及び送信停止区間を含む送信パターンと、ライトの点灯区間及び消灯区間を含む点滅パターンとが同期していて、自車の送信区間と他の車両の送信区間とが互いに異なる。【選択図】図1
