PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent traffic accidents by controlling a speed according to drivers on the basis of attribute information and driving history information of the respective drivers on addition to the recognition of the drivers themselves.SOLUTION: In the speed control method of an electric automobile, when a reader transmits driver information read from a recording medium to a speed control device, the speed control device records the driver information in a database. The speed control device retrieves biological information in the database when receiving the biological information of the driver from an authentication device, and calculates an instruction signal to be transmitted to a driving device on the basis of at least one between the attribute information and the driving history information of the driver when there is corresponding biological information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3

    【課題】運転者本人を認証した上で、それぞれの運転者の属性情報や運転履歴情報に基づき、運転者に応じて速度を制御し、交通事故の防止を図る。【解決手段】本発明の電気自動車の速度制御方法は、読取装置が記録媒体から読取った運転者情報を速度制御装置に送信すると、速度制御装置は、運転者情報をデータベースに記録し、運転者の生体情報を認証装置から受信すると、生体情報をデータベースで検索し、対応する生体情報があるときは、運転者の属性情報及び運転履歴情報のうちの少なくとも1つに基づき、駆動装置へ送信する指示信号を算出する。【選択図】図3
