PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a curve section identification system capable of improving the accuracy in identifying curve section.SOLUTION: The curve section identification system is constituted by including: a feature point acquisition section that acquires a feature point which represents a feature point on a road; a line segment acquisition section that acquires a line segment which extends from the interest feature point to another feature point or to a point on the line, which connects neighboring feature points before and after the interest feature point; a curve section identification section that, when a crossing angle of the line segments is larger than a criteria, identifies a curve section based on the interest feature point; and a line segment length adjustment section that changes the length of the line segment based on the density of the feature points on the road.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
